What do you do when you fall off the wagon?

It's really simple...

Get back on the wagon.

That's it.

All of the other stuff...

The tactics, the strategies, the advice.

It's just details.

 

When you fall off the wagon, get back on as fast as possible.

Immediately.

Don't even think about it.

Get back on.

 

Here's a list of things you should not do:

  • Give up

  • Get discouraged

  • Be negative

  • Quit

  • Beat yourself up over it

  • Worry about it

  • Overthink it


Why Your Clean Slate Matters

You have to accept that you have a clean slate.

It never happened.

Forget about it.

Let me tell you why.

Because if you're negative about it, It's going to keep you from making forward progress.

If you beat yourself up about it, it's gonna affect your attitude, it's gonna affect your motivation, it's gonna affect your energy.

And the longer you sit in that negativity, in that mode of inaction, the more likely it is that you're not going to get back up on that wagon.

The longer you wait, the less likely it is that you'll continue.

The longer you wait, the more the progress that you did make gets undone.

The longer you wait, the more work it's gonna take to get back to where you were.

So just pick up right where you left off.

And don't worry about it.

Helping you tip the scales in your favor.

Helping you to increase your odds of success.

Helping you to do what you need to do to get back on the wagon and stay on the wagon.
